Onsite café & playground for visitors
The Donwood Café is a beautiful place for residents and their guests to enjoy time together. You’ll be able to sit down with friends and family to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat in a comfortable environment. With an onsite playground nearby, your younger guests will be able to run around and play whilst you’re catching up with everyone.

Our residents are all treated with respect and dignity. We will maintain their identity and ensure they can make informed choices to live the life they choose. We ensure we understand not only our resident but also their family and friends and their connections with the greater community. It is important to ensure our connections are maintained, nurtured and remain strong no matter the decline in our health.
Donwood has an onsite hairdresser and beautician to ensure our residents can keep up their appearance with ease, in a beautiful welcoming environment.
Our dedicated lifestyle and wellness co-ordinators organise activities based on the suggestions of residents, including outings (made easy with our Donwood community bus), celebrations, concerts, dancing, traditional games, happy hour, Chapel Services, and much more. These activities are co-ordinated with input from our residents, relatives and community to ensure we offer something for everyone to enjoy individually or together.
At Donwood we have so many external connections with entertainers, local community groups, local preschools, primary and secondary school and volunteer organisations. These relationships allow us to connect to our external community and promote self worth, belonging, friendship and a sense of purpose.
